The hungriest beast of them all on this blog is our Photo Of The Day. It consumes hundreds of images every month, and it has been doing so for over 8 years. Today we’re taking a closer look at the “20th Anniversary Edition Rifle & the History of the CTR-02”.

As you might imagine, “02” stands for the year 2002, when the rifle was introduced. I think this is a great competition rifle, but I might be a little biased since I own five or so of these rifles, in all sorts of configurations from a 7.5″ short 300 BLK “Honey Badger”, to IPSC/3Gun versions and one for Precision Rifles Series.

2022 marked the 20th anniversary of our signature billet receiver set, the CTR-02

. To commemorate, we’ve put together a special limited run of engraved anniversary rifles. Check it this unique collector’s piece, and listen to John Paul and Dave Cammack talk about the history of this trend-setting platform.
