Despite widespread opposition, the state of Alaska has appealed the EPA’s ruling on the Pebble Mine directly to the Supreme Court.

It would be interesting to know how many taxpayer dollars are spent on corporate lawyers, given that most Alaska residents oppose the Pebble Project.
