Rigged with a 10+1 bearing system, lightweight graphite frame and sideplates, and 24-ton graphite construction, these sensitive rods and reels are perfect for all kinds of fishing styles. The reel also features a Carbon Matrix drag system that provides consistent drag pressure no matter how intense the battle is. There are multiple combos to consider, including: Right- and left-handed reels, 7-foot and 7-foot, 3-inch rod lengths in medium-heavy and heavy actions.
Staff Perspective: Ok, aside from all the cool features and reliability you’ve come to expect from Abu Garcia, the paint job on this combo is awesome. Perhaps it’s the hunter in me, or the deep respect I have for our great nation’s military folks, but I love the look and feel of this thing, and I want one of each.
