The EB70S can be recharged from 0 to 80% within 3 hrs from a normal power outlet in your home. Our testing shows similar timeframe to this. Using a 200W solar panel can get similar results when the panel is getting full sun exposure. We haven’t yet charged the device long enough using solar for this, but using Bluetti’s 200W solar array, we have seen some really great performance.
It can also get fully recharged from a 12V or 24V car port which will take a bit longer than a wall outlet.
Bluetti’s device is touted to have 2500 lifecycles up to 80%. This is impressive and comparable to the top rated power stations on the market.
The device has a fantastic handle that makes it easy to transport to any location. This combined with the overall low weight of this power station make it extremely portable and easy to move around.
The built in light on the power station is incredibly powerful. It will legitimately light up your campsite if needed, or help you light up an area you may need to work on. THe different light power settings are extremely helpful.

When using energy, charging, or both, the display tells you how much energy you are gaining and dispersing. For example, if you have your solar panel attached getting 90W, and a laptop and phone charging taking 20W, you can easily see you are adding more energy to the power station than you are consuming. It makes it very easy to determine how much power you have left, and we love this feature.
Bluetti has a 24 month warranty for any defects that you can read about here.
Bluetti allows purchases to add on a 120W or 200W solar panel array. We use the 200W solar panel array and absolutely love the setup. Even when it is cloudy, or late, or early in the day, we get impressive wattage back into the power station. 70-150 W is common, and 150+W is achievable on the sunny days.
This means that you easily can charge multiple devices at once while solar charging and not actually drawing any power from the power station.
The solar panel array seems extremely durable, it is easy to carry, and super fast to setup. We highly recommend it for any camping use cases (which is what we use our power stations for the most.)
You can also purchase solar panel arrays separately, and if you want more than 120 W or 200 W, you can see all of the solar panel options here.

The power specifications of this device are straightforward. For us, this level of power is exactly what we want for long weekend trips, car camping, and spending time in the outdoors. It allows us to work remotely to charge laptops, cameras, phones, watches, radios, satellite messengers, and more.
The size of this device makes it easy for anyone to carry, place in a car, and take in and out of a vehicle with ease.
The light feature, mixed with 11 different ports for charging make it easy to charge all of our devices at once if needed.
The power / battery length is substantially improved with the use of a solar panel, especially for long backcountry trips where you may need to charge camera gear, drones, and laptops.
We know that it can sometimes be difficult to choose the perfect sized power station for your needs. Bigger isn’t always better because they get bigger, heavier, and more expensive. Read our guide on power station sizing, and potentially check out other Bluetti power station sizes.
Everything about this device is easy to use. There are no complex functionalities, and it is a matter of plugging in to a solar panel, car outlet, or wall outlet for charging.
The solar panels are very portable and low profile
The 800 W size makes this relatively lightweight compared to larger power stations. The size is compact compared to other power stations of the same size, making portability easy.
We need to note that in our reviewing so far, we haven’t fully charged the device via the car, or via solar panels, only at our home. The home charging is impressively fast. Just a few hours to fully charge the device. In the car, this device does take longer, an via solar panels, you really need to have maximum sun exposure to be getting a relatively quick charge. Overall, it performs exactly as expected and comparable to other power stations we have tested.
This is a good looking power station. We also really like the look of the solar panel array when packed up.
When it comes to power stations of this size, Bluetti is a value brand. They are cheaper than some of the top end competitors, but have greater reliability and performance than the lower end power stations. In our opinion, the Bluetti power stations are perfect for the value based buyer. You get a fantastic warranty, a solid product, but save, often several hundred dollars, over the top brands that may offer better lifespans, or better warranty policies. This is a premium quality product in the mid price range, and therefore we love the value of this power station.
We also wanted to point out the 700 W sizing is relatively unique compared to other top competitors that often have 500W and 1000W options, so this is a great middle ground to those other sizes.
Bluetty EB70S In Subaru Crosstrek
Overall, we highly recommend this power station from Bluetti. The sizing is perfect for long weekend trips with multiple people that need to charge several devices each. Many power station brands don’t have this exact size, which carves a great size niche. Overall, this is a very high quality power station that wins on price compared to much of the landscape. When it doesn’t win on price, it usually wins massively in terms of quality of battery (durability and warranty).
If you are a value based buyer, this is a fantastic option for you.
