Anker’s states that the power station should continue to perform for more than 3,000 cycles.
We are mentioning this several times in this review, because we can’t find another power station with a warranty this long.
Anker touts this device as impact-resistant, shock-proof, anti-UV, and flame retardant. We haven’t quite experienced any drop, but this is comforting knowing we haul the device in and out of the car frequently, and drops, or impact is inevitable with lots of outdoor use.

The power specifications of this device speak for themselves. For us, this level of power is exactly what we want for long weekend trips, car camping, and spending time in the outdoors. It allows us to work remotely from anywhere without worrying about our ability to charge our laptops, cameras, phones, watches, radios, and more.
Because of the easy portability and size, it fits nicely into the back of our Subaru with easy access. The handles make it easy to take in and out of the car for further use, or charging. The power station is relatively heavy, so the handles are really nice to have.
Having 13 different ports is incredibly useful. We can basically charge all of our devices at once, and all of the cords easily connect and are well spaced on the power station making it really easy to plug everything in, and have some type of organized system of cables to charge devices.
Overall, it is super easy to use. Turning off the light is easy, reading the power levels is easy, turning on AC power is easy. All in all, the whole device couldn’t really be any simpler or more user friendly.
The handles are quite nice on this device. That being said, this is a heavy product. But most power stations of this size are of similar weight. If you need something more portable, you would size down to the Anker 555 – but this is simply the nature of a 1229 Wh power station.
The time it takes to charge to 80% is extremely impressive. In our experience, the power station takes less than an hour to get to 80% when we are down at a low percentage. This is impressive. In addition, all devices plugged into the power station charge just as fast as any other charging location.
We will note – like any other power station – charging in a car takes substantially longer than charging at home. The stats indicate 13.8 hours for a full charge via the car charging cable. This means you’ll want to charge it before leaving your home most likely.
We haven’t charged this device via solar energy, but the stats are impressive for this charging speed:
4.5 hours to be recharged fully using three Anker 100W solar panels.
6.7 hours to be recharged fully using two Anker 100W solar panels.
13.3 hours to be recharged fully using one Anker 100W solar panel.
One full day in the sun with 1 panel will get the power station charged up pretty well.

Simply put – this is a really good looking power station. It has a sleek design, cool colors, and the lighting option is great. This is only a very minor factor, but it is nice to know it will look good sitting in your home, or in your car.
When it comes to power stations of this size, Anker is on the more expensive side. That being said, no other power stations have a warranty like Anker, nor do they appear to be made with the same engineering and quality to last as long as Anker’s power stations. We therefore believe, on an item of this price, paying the extra 10-20% is well worth the investment.
Overall, we highly recommend this power station from Anker. The quality, and unmatched warranty make this well worth the cost.
If you want a product that is of the highest quality and has a best in class warranty, this is the best option out there.
