Dear Dirt Wheels,
I’m still trying to figure out how to write “my story” without sounding like everyone else. It’s unique for me, because it all started when I was a little girl, but unlike others who learned from their dad or brother, I found my love and passion for this sport through my mother, Beth Clayton. She’s a multi-time women’s champion for the Amsoil MWEDT National Series. I’ve been racing since I was 6 or 7, which means I’ve been in this exhilarating world for about 10 years now. There’s no other sport I would trade it for. It’s here that I find my family and friends, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m Ella Barrett, and I’m determined to become a future women’s champ, just like my momma.
