DW FAN WRITES IN: We have a chance to purchase one or both UTVs from a family. One is an Arctic Cat Havoc 1000 and the other is a Bass Pro Shops Tracker 1000. Both have nearly the same mileage, below 1000 miles. They look nearly identical, save the colors and badges. If it was up to you, Boss, which one would chose? – Don and Sally Nelson, Rock Springs, WY.

OUR PRO ANSWER: They look identical because they basically are! Both are made by Textron/Arctic Cat. I can pretty much guess that the family purchased the Arctic Cat Havoc 1000 first and loved it so much they wanted another. But they either couldn’t afford another AC or they discovered they could purchase the same basic machine from Bass Pro Shops for less money. So either or both would be a good buy. FYI: and you didn’t hear this from me (wink), for any service or parts, go to your nearest AC dealer and not Bass Pro. Bass Pro is not set up for service of the machines they sell.
