Dear Boss, I have a 2023 Kawasaki Mule FXR. I do use the parking brake when I park, and that seems to be the source of my problem. I am fighting a losing battle with the parking brake light and that miserable Limp mode. When I release the parking brake lever, the engine may run correctly or it will stumble along at 7 mph and act like the parking brake is still on. Multiple tries may get the machine out of Limp mode or not. Where is the adjustment for that parking brake light?

Ah, another case of 2022/2023 assembly defects. Sounds to me like either
the parking brake lever is not fully disengaging the parking brake, so the system is working correctly by sending you into Limp mode. Or, the parking brake is completely disengaging and the switch is malfunctioning again, sending you into Limp mode. Either way, the parking brake lever assembly needs to be removed, and the actuation of the brake light switch checked, as well as the electrical connection to the switch. It may be something as simple as a bad connection or the switch is out of adjustment. Note that the owner’s manual states the adjustment of the parking brake switch is difficult, and it is recommended to have your dealer adjust it. However, it is a simple on/off switch with a plunger actuation and one electrical wire.
