I have a BVC Trikes Honda CRF450R trike conversion with a 2021 engine. I purchased it used from the original owner. The original owner sold it because he got tired of fouling spark plugs
and no-start situations. I am having the same problems. When I can get it to run, I really love it. It is fast and unbelievable in the dunes! But, when I can’t get it to even start without a plug change,
not so much! Can you help with this problem?

When those CRF450R conversions are right, they are a blast! When they are not, then you have a problem! My first thought is, did the previous owner change the heat range of the spark plug from a 10 to a 9? The “hotter” spark plug has helped other CRF450 owners with the fouling problem. The other thought I had was, “Did the original owner ever have the Honda ECU map re-flash?” That new map was supposed to cure this exact problem. Start by calling your local Honda dealer and get an appointment for the free re-flash and go from there.
