Premium features with base-model price tags By the staff of Dirt Wheels
No other powersports manufacturer offers premium features at base-model pricing better than CFMoto. Just compare their ATV lineup to the competition. You’ll find features like alloy beadlock wheels, a winch, 4WD with differential lock and more for less coin than the competition asks for their bare-bones base model. For instance, the CForce 500 ATV is loaded with goodies like alloy wheels, a winch, and EPS for $950 less than the base-model Can-Am Outlander 500. And, in today’s rough economic roller coaster, value is essential. CFMoto tells us its best-performing dealerships carry multiple brands where potential customers can see the difference, and all CFMoto vehicles come with a one-year factory warranty.
CFMoto had a stellar boost in sales during the pandemic years, topping the charts in many markets outside of North America, and now they’re moving full steam ahead in the USA. They just opened a massive corporate headquarters near Minneapolis, Minnesota, which we visited back in October. A new factory in Mexico will also drive down shipping costs. Here are the current CFMoto ATV, side-by-side and UTV lineups.
2024 CFMOTO – CFORCE 1000 OVERLAND
CFMoto defines the CForce 1000 Overland as “overbuilt, under-priced and beyond comparison.” It’s hard to argue when you line up the competition, and look at specifications, pricing and standard features! This model comes with three weather-resistant cargo boxes that are easily removed using the CFConnect cargo system with over 38 gallons of storage. The center box has a backrest that can be swapped for an elevated passenger seat with raised footwells. Other standard features include a 3,500-pound winch, heavy-duty bumpers, 14-inch aluminum beadlock wheels with 27-inch tires, LED headlights and flood lights, and a front fairing with integrated handguards. Aside from the bolt-on goodies, you also get a 74-horsepower, 963cc V-twin engine; a CVT with high and low range; selectable 2WD/4WD/4WF diff-lock; EPS; 11.8 inches of ground clearance; gas-charged shocks with compression and rebound adjustment; and independent suspension with high-clearance A-arms up front (6.7 inches travel) and trailing arms at the rear (7.5 inches travel). It’s available in Tactical Green or Desert Tan for $10,399.
2024 CFMOTO – CFORCE 800 XC
The CForce 800 XC is a two-rider ATV with passenger-elevated stadium-style seating and footwells. Aside from the hard-side travel cases, it has many of the same features and dimensions as the CForce 1000 Overland. Wide fender flares offer complete mud and debris coverage, 14-inch aluminum alloy wheels are fitted with 26-inch tires, a 3,500-pound winch is standard, and it has front and rear composite-over-steel racks with a combined 175-pound cargo capacity. A 2-inch receiver can also tow up to 1,650 pounds. The liquid-cooled, 800cc V-twin makes 60 horsepower and is mated to a CVT with high and low range; selectable 2WD/4WD/4WD diff-lock; EPS; 11.2 inches of ground clearance; and independent suspension with high-clearance A-arms up front with 6.7 inches of travel and trailing arms at the rear making 7.5 inches of travel. Gas-charged shocks are compression and rebound adjustable. It is available in Velocity Grey, Lava Orange and Royal Blue for $9,399 or $9,749 for TrueTimber Camo.
2024 CFMOTO – CFORCE 600 AND 600 TOURING
Are you looking to ride solo or share the adventure with a friend? The extra passenger seat and 8-inch-longer wheelbase are the only significant differences between the two 580cc models. The liquid-cooled, single-cylinder is fed via a Bosch EFI system and puts out 45 horsepower. The automatic CVT has high- and low-range operation, and just like every CFMoto full-size ATV, these get selectable 2WD/4WD/4WD diff-lock. Front and rear suspensions are independent, with double A-arms at each corner, and oil-damped shocks allow 6.3 inches of wheel travel up front and 8.3 inches at the rear with spring preload adjustment. Both models get 12-inch alloy wheels fitted with 25-inch tires, boosting ground clearance to 10.6 inches. Additional standard features include EPS, an electronic throttle with selectable work mode, a 3,500-pound winch, an LCD with Bluetooth call indicator, engine braking, LED headlights, handguards, steel racks with composite covers, and a 2-inch receiver. The combined cargo rack capacity is 175 pounds, and it will tow 1,500 pounds. Both models come in your choice of Nebula Black, Magma Red, Velocity Grey or TrueTimber Camo. The CForce 600 retails for $7,399 or $7,749 for camo, and the 600 Touring is offered at $7,899 or $8,249 for camo.
2024 CFMOTO – CFORCE 500
The CForce 500 is another exceptional value, and like every other CForce ATV, it’s loaded with standard features that are considered premium on other brands. The 500 gets EPS, a 2,500-pound winch, LED headlights, steel racks with a composite cover, 12-inch alloy wheels with 25-inch tires, and high-clearance gull-wing front A-arms. The liquid-cooled, 495cc EFI engine packs 35 horsepower and is matched to a high- and low-range CVT. The drive system includes 2WD/4WD and 4WD with differential lock. Front and rear independent A-arm suspension systems include preload-adjustable oil-damped shocks with 7.5 inches of front travel and 8.9 inches at the rear. Hydraulic disc brakes, engine braking, and a digital dash display are also standard. The combined cargo rack capacity is 175 pounds, and a 2-inch receiver hitch can tow 1,350 pounds. The CForce 500 is available in Nebula Black, Royal Blue, Lava Orange or TrueTimber Camo, and retails for $6,399 or $6,749 for camo.
2024 CFMOTO – CFORCE 400
While steel wheels don’t look as fancy as the alloy rims on the higher-displacement 4×4 ATVs, CFMoto’s smallest 4×4 still looks good and packs a few standard features that most competing machines don’t. For instance, it gets fully independent, dual-A-arm suspension at all four corners, hydraulic disc brakes, 9.8 inches of ground clearance, premium all-terrain tires, an LCD gauge, and a sealed rear storage compartment. The 399cc single-cylinder engine is liquid-cooled, has Bosch EFI, and produces 30 horsepower. A CVT comes with high and low range, and the drivetrain includes selectable 2WD/4WD and 4WD with differential lock. You don’t usually find a lockable differential on smaller-displacement 4x4s. The suspension consists of gull-wing-style lower front A-arms for enhanced ground clearance, preload-adjustable oil-damped shocks, 7.5 inches of front-wheel travel, and 8.9 inches at the rear. Available in your choice of Jet Black, Rocket Red or Hunter Green injected colorways, the CForce 400 is priced at $5,399.

This engine boasts electronic fuel injection, an eight-valve SOHC design, and “sport” and “normal” power delivery modes. The CVT includes high- and low-range gear selection, and the final drive includes selectable 2WD/4WD and the ability to lock the front differential fully. At 64 inches, the H.O. is the widest side-by-side on the CFMoto fleet, making it ideal for open desert and sand. Piggyback reservoir shocks can be found at all four corners, providing 13.4 inches of wheel travel up front and 15.6 inches at the rear. EPS is standard on all CFMoto side-by-sides. Bolstered seats offer comfort and support, while a color multi-functional digital dashboard provides technical information at a glance. Standard features include 29-inch CST all-terrain tires on 14-inch aluminum beadlock wheels, a 3,500-pound winch, LED headlights, fender flares, tilt steering, and half doors. Available in Nebula Black, Desert Tan or Lava Orange, this model starts at $15,799.
2024 CFMOTO – ZFORCE 950 SPORT
The CFMoto ZForce 950 Sport boasts a 963cc EFI V-twin engine that generates up to 85 horsepower. Paired with a CVT with high- and low-range gear selections, the drivetrain includes selectable 2WD/4WD and 4WD with front differential lock, making it capable of handling challenging and technical terrain. With a top speed of over 70 mph and a 9.8-gallon fuel capacity, this machine is perfect for those who love to explore, and its 60-inch width makes it friendly for most trail systems. Its design is focused on comfort and convenience, with bolstered seats, a full-coverage sport roof, height-adjustable EPS, and a user-friendly dashboard. Standard features include 14-inch cast-aluminum beadlock wheels mounted with 27-inch CST Stag tires, a 3,500-pound winch, normal and sport modes, LED headlights, full doors, and a 2-inch receiver with a 1,500-pound towing capacity. There are over 12 inches of available wheel travel up front and more than 13 inches at the rear. The CFMoto ZForce 950 Sport is available in three colors—Nebula Black, Desert Tan or Lava Orange—and it sells for $15,299.
2024 CFMOTO – ZFORCE 950 SPORT 4
The CFMoto ZForce 950 Sport 4 is CFMoto’s only sport side-by-side with four seats. It’s also the heaviest at just 1,753 pounds. It’s fitted with a 963cc EFI V-twin engine with 85 horsepower and a CVT with high- and low-range gear selections. The drivetrain includes selectable 2WD/4WD and 4WD with front differential lock. Comfort and convenience are at the forefront of its design, featuring bolstered seats, a full-coverage sport roof, adjustable steering and a user-friendly dashboard. Premium features include 14-inch cast-aluminum beadlock wheels mounted with 27-inch CST Stag tires, a 4500-pound winch, normal and sport modes, LED headlights, full doors, and a 2-inch receiver with a 1,500-pound towing capacity. Dual-A-arm arched suspension makes 12 inches of ground clearance, and front and rear high-pressure gas shocks are seven-position compression adjustable. The stretched 60-inch track and 120-inch wheelbase make for a more confident approach to steep angles when climbing. Available in Nebula Black, Desert Tan or Lava Orange, this model starts at $18,299.
2024 CFMOTO – ZFORCE 950 TRAIL
The most significant difference between the Sport and Trail models is track width. The ZForce 950 Trail is designed to fit ATV trails with 50-inch-wide maximum regulations. The 950 still gets the 85-horsepower 963cc EFI engine and CVT with high and low range, and it has selectable 2WD/4WD/4WD with diff-lock, but ground clearance is cut to 10 inches, and suspension travel drops to 10 inches up front and 12 inches at the rear due to the narrow stance. It does come with piggyback high-pressure gas shocks with three-position compression adjustment and dual-A-arm suspension systems front and rear. Additional standard features include 26-inch tires on 14-inch aluminum wheels, a 3,500-pound winch, an electronic throttle with selectable power modes, LED headlights, full doors, and a 2-inch receiver. Color choices include Nebula Black, Lava Orange and Magma Red, with an MSRP of $14,299.
2024 CFMOTO – ZFORCE 800 TRAIL
The 800 is the most affordable side-by-side on the CFMoto fleet with its smaller 800cc EFI engine and standard preload-adjustable, oil-damped shocks. The 800 Trail makes just under 60 horsepower. Other than that, the remaining specifications are the same as the ZForce 950 Trail, but for $1,200 less. Standard features still include 26-inch tires on 14-inch aluminum wheels, a 3,500-pound winch, an electronic throttle with selectable power modes, LED headlights, full doors and a 2-inch receiver. Color choices are Tundra Grey and Magma Red, with an MSRP of just $13,099.
2024 CFMOTO – UFORCE 1000 XL
The 963cc, eight-valve, V-twin EFI engine makes 79 peak horsepower and 60 pound-feet of torque for tackling heavy chores with selectable work/normal modes. The CVT includes high- and low-range gear selections, and it gets selectable 2WD/4WD and 4WD with differential lock. The stretched 112.2-inch wheelbase seats six comfortably and tames the trail with a foot of ground clearance and A-arm suspension sporting 9.2 inches of travel at all four corners. Standout features include a 4,500-pound synthetic rope winch, 27-inch CST tires on 14-inch aluminum wheels, EPS with tilt steering, a color digital dash, LED lighting, and a removable storage box. The vehicle is equipped with a 3,500-pound synthetic rope winch, 14-inch aluminum wheels, EPS with tilt steering, a color digital dash, LED lighting all around, and a removable storage box. The only major difference between this model and the XL is the lack of a backseat. The color options available are Desert Tan, Twilight Blue or TrueTimber Camo. The model’s MSRP is $13,299 or $13,749 for the camo version.
2024 CFMOTO – UFORCE 600
