The new pliers have been carefully designed for working around a fish’s delicate gills with great finesse and control. The plier tips have been fully polished so there are no sharp edges that could harm your fish while you’re pulling the hooks out of delicate and tender parts of the fish like near the gills or throat. The jaws of the pliers were designed to be shorter to provide better grabbing force and rigidity when you really have to give it some beans to torque a hook out.
