Vortex Optics has had a couple new riflescopes up their sleeve for some time now, and we are happy to announce along with them that the Vortex Venom 3-15x44mm FFP (First Focal Plane) and Venom 1-6x24mm SFP (Second Focal Plane) are here! This expands out the Venom family of optics to 3 selections now bridging the gap from Low Powered Variable Optics (LPVO) all the way up to high magnification options in the original 5-25x option.

Vortex Optics Coverage on AllOutdoor

The Venom Venom 3-15x44mm FFP (First Focal Plane) is an optic we are especially excited to see unveiled here at AllOutdoor because it is perfect for hunting purposes. Whether you are trying to harvest a hardwoods whitetail in at short distances in Minnesota, or looking to poke an elk across a valley in Colorado, this intermediate magnification riflescope is perfect for a multitude of uses.

Next up is the Venom 1-6x24mm SFP (Second Focal Plane). This is a classic Low Powered Variable Optic (LPVO), but with higher quality glass, accoutrements like a throw lever included, and tactile turrets on the fly adjustment. What started out as a lone optic offering within the Venom series is quickly growing into a full-fledged family of glass. Like we stated earlier, you optic options to engage targets right in your face (Venom 1-6x24mm SFP) all the way out to 1,000 yards or more with the original 5-25x option.
