Leupold Mark 5HD 2-10x – Shooters Asked & Leupold Responds

When it comes to optics in the modern age as a manufacturer you need to have a bit of everything to please everyone. That way, just like porridge, shooters and hunters alike can find magnification levels and features that are not too much, not too little, but just right. A lot of people have been requesting that Leupold specifically come out with a 2-10x riflescope through their Mark 5HD lineup, and they finally have with the Leupold Mark 5HD 2-10x.

While some people might be thinking “isn’t that suspiciously close to being an LPVO-style optic,” you are exactly right yet it gives you more help on the bottom range of your magnification. None of the Mark 5HD scopes are cheap through that lineup and neither will the 2-10x offering with 3 different reticle choices (MSRP $1,999 – $2,499). We caught a glimpse of the optic at SHOT Show 2023, but now Leupold is stating that production is ramping up and it is here!
