[ICAST 2023] The iA.T.A.K 110 Angler Kayak from Pelican International

   07.30.23

Pelican International brought out a new inflatable fishing kayak to ICAST this year with the iA.T.A.K 110 Angler Kayak. This is a new dropstitch fishing kayak that uses both a dropstitch hull and floor to produce the rigidity of a hardshell kayak in an inflatable package. Both sections of the kayak fill to 14PSI and have pressure relief valves, so no worries about overpressure occurring on warm days. Any air pressure over 14PSI will safely be released by the valves.

The hull has Pelican’s patented fishbone technology built in to optimize the speed and tracking of the kayak. The front has a polymer keel line, and the rear of the kayak has a fin. Across the front of the kayak’s cockpit, there is an aluminum accessory rail for anglers to customize the placement of their fishing accessories. There is also a threaded Gopro mount on the front of the kayak’s deck as well. On both sides behind the seat, there are Scotty mounts integrated into the deck, both placed within easy reach. The seat for the kayak is the Ergo Boost Seat, which is foldable and removable when folded it acts as a high deck platform that you can sit or stand on when casting. The iA.T.A.K 110 ships with a battery pump as well as a manual pump, along with a backpack to store it. MSRP for this all together is $1399.99.

Special thanks to the Pelican International staff here at ICAST 2023, and stick around for more ICAST coverage. Also,  let us know your thoughts in the comments below, we appreciate your feedback.
