The classic balsa crankbaits are great at letting anglers catch more fish, but those positive features also come with trade-offs and Berkley understands both sides of that coin. Building upon the success of their first flat-sided balsa crankbait alternative, the Berkley Frittside. The team of engineers at Berkley Labs is now utilizing that same proven method and tech to make the newest balsa alternative mid-depth crankbait, the Berkley Dime.

This new crankbait offers anglers the durability and performance of new plastic baits but still retains the action of balsa lures. All of this is due to Berkley’s patented Flash Disc technology. The new Berkley Dime not only cast further due to the weight transfer system in smaller sizes but tracks perfectly. All the crankbaits come with sticky shark Fusion19 treble hooks right out of the box. The Dime is also going to be offered in 21 different colors and finishes that balsa lures just can’t achieve. These crankbaits will be available to purchase starting September of this year and will retail for $10.99
