[ICAST 2023] Shimano’s Mastiff FC Best in Category Fishing Line

Shimano has brought in a new premium 100% fluorocarbon line from Japan to ICAST this year with the new Shimano Mastiff FC Fluorocarbon line. This new line is produced in Japan to exacting levels of quality control to produce a premium 100% fluorocarbon line that has enhanced performance on the water. Made with Shimano’s NANOARMOR technology, the fluorocarbon line features nano-sized ridges across the outer surface of the line. This enhances the line’s knot strength, the toughness of the line, slippage prevention, and reduces the risk of fluorocarbon cracking and breaking. The added knot strength and durability of the line are key to enduring the repetitive stress of the constant casting and working of lures across structure.
