Federal Debuts NEW Personal Defense HST 357 Mag & 327 Federal Mag

   06.29.23

When it comes to concealed carry – and even open carry on your own property while hunting, ranching, or surveying – people are still in love with wheelguns to have by their side. Federal Ammunition realizes this and they are continuing to bolster their Personal Defense HST lineup. They’re newest cartridge additions are .357 Magnum and .327 Federal Magnum.

Federal Coverage on AllOutdoor

While .357 Magnum is still wildly popular among revolver owners, it may surprise a lot of gun owners that .327 Federal Magnum is still viable. When you are toting some Personal Defense HST ammunition though that cartridge has a whole new meaning. The current available grain weights and suggested MSRPs are listed below for both of these new offerings.

“When it comes to choosing a caliber for personal defense, the 357 Magnum and 327 Federal Magnum continues to be popular choices. A big reason for the continued popularity of these calibers is the preference to carry a revolver for everyday carry. We are excited to add these new loads to the already proven line of HST Personal Defense handgun ammunition.” – Federal Ammunition Handgun Product Director, Nick Sachse

From Smith & Wesson to Charter Arms and many other manufacturers, there is a unique following to the .327 Federal Magnum round and it seems like it is here to stay. It is great to see that Federal Ammunition is supporting it as well as expanding their .357 Magnum offerings for those who carry a revolver on the daily. As always, let us know all of your thoughts in the Comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.
